Privacy Policy

We collect information needed to operate, secure, improve, and administer the Service:

• Nickname — the display name shown to opponents and on the leaderboard.
• Platform identity — a device or platform-provided player id (Game Center, Google Play Games, or an anonymous per-device id) used to recognize you across sessions without a full account.
• Sign-in details, if you link an account — see Sign in with Apple & Google below.
• Match history — scores, turn-by-turn move logs, and outcomes, used to update ratings and let us verify match results.
• Service and analytics events — gameplay and feature-use events (for example, a match starting or completing), which may be associated with your account, player, or device identifier. We use them to understand feature use, maintain the Service, and diagnose problems.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone/camera data.

If you choose to sign in, we receive your provider account id and, depending on the permissions you grant, your email address and profile image URL. This links your progress and rating to one account across devices. You can decline to share your email during Sign in with Apple (using the "Hide My Email" option) and Fuzzball will still work normally.

We never receive your Apple or Google password.

Online matches store the full sequence of moves for both players so the server can re-simulate and verify the result. This is used only for match integrity (detecting desync, fraud, or cheating), moderation, and leaderboard accuracy. Your nickname, selected cosmetic, and match result may be visible to your opponent and, where offered, in leaderboards. Invite games may also use a room or invite identifier to pair players.

When you use the Service, we and our infrastructure providers may process technical information such as IP address, device and platform identifiers, app version, browser type, user agent, timestamps, request and response metadata, verification results, and diagnostic or security events. We use this information to deliver the Service, prevent abuse, secure accounts and systems, investigate incidents, enforce our Terms, and debug and improve performance.

Server and API logs may contain request information and diagnostic data. We use measures intended to reduce logging of sensitive credentials, but no logging or transmission system is guaranteed to be error-free. Do not include sensitive information in nicknames, bug reports, or other free-form submissions.

If you contact us or submit a bug report, we collect the information you provide, such as the report title and text and an optional reply email. We may also receive technical context supplied with the report, including the page or screen, platform, app version, locale, time zone, screen size, and user agent. We use this information to respond, investigate, fix issues, and protect the Service.

Purchases are processed by the applicable app store and RevenueCat, and donations are processed by PayPal. Those providers process payment details under their own notices and terms. We may receive and retain information needed to confirm or restore an entitlement, prevent fraud, reconcile a transaction, or administer a donation, such as account or entitlement identifiers, transaction status, payer attribution, and payment metadata. We do not receive your full payment-card number from app-store purchases.

• Matching you with an opponent and running the match.
• Maintaining your win/loss record and leaderboard rating.
• Showing your nickname to the opponent you're matched with.
• Diagnosing bugs and improving matchmaking, physics, and performance.
• Protecting players and the Service; detecting, investigating, and responding to fraud, abuse, cheating, security incidents, and Terms violations.
• Complying with applicable law and enforcing our legal rights.

We do not use your data to serve targeted advertising, and Fuzzball has no ads.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that keep the game running — including hosting, database, monitoring, authentication providers, Apple and Google app stores, RevenueCat, and PayPal — and only to the extent needed to provide, secure, support, or improve the Service. We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security; investigate or enforce violations; comply with law or legal process; or in connection with a corporate transaction. Public gameplay and leaderboard information is shared as described above.

We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including operating and improving the Service, resolving disputes, enforcing our agreements, preventing fraud, and complying with legal, accounting, and reporting obligations. Retention varies by data type: active account and gameplay records may be retained while the account or Service is active; security, server, and diagnostic logs are retained for a limited operational period; and transaction-related records may be retained as required by law. Copies may remain in backups until overwritten.

To request account deletion or access to personal data, email us below from the account email address (if available) with the subject "Fuzzball Privacy Request." We may ask for information needed to verify your request. Deletion may remove or de-identify direct identifiers while retaining limited information where necessary for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, legal, accounting, match-integrity, or backup purposes.

Fuzzball is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal data. These rights are subject to applicable law and exceptions. To make a request, use the contact details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Fuzzball after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
